The idea
Three levels of AI — most people are stuck at two
Level 1 — use it. Ask a chatbot a question. A smarter Google.
Level 2 — prompt it. Write better prompts for better answers. Still you, in the chair, every single time.
Level 3 — direct it. Build agents that run real work on their own, and surface only what needs you.
Level 3 is where the leverage is. The Agentic CEO is the person who crossed that line: they don’t do the task, and they don’t even prompt for it — they built the e-worker that does, and they manage the outcome. A person of one starts operating like a team of ten.
Why now
The barrier to building is falling
For thirty years, doing something real with a computer meant you had to be able to build it — or hire someone who could. That’s ending. With agents, you describe the outcome and the work gets done: no code, no headcount, no waiting in line. And it no longer matters much where you’re sitting when you do it.
That shift is the whole reason Agentic CEO exists — to hand operators the playbook for it while it’s still early.
Who's behind it
Jeffrey Shmigelsky
I’m a builder — I make things with AI every day. My last company, One Cup, was processing about a million animals an hour and was featured by NVIDIA, Google, and AWS; I also hold a master’s in AI from Georgia Tech. Agentic CEO is where I’m putting that to work in the open: showing operators how to delegate real jobs to agents — with receipts, on things that actually run.
